The first of a planned series of 'pop-up pub' nights at Westley Waterless Village Hall attracted more than. 120 people on Friday, 4th February. The event was a great opportunity for villagers of all ages to get together over drinks from Bulls Bridge Bars and food from The Waffle Hut.. A newly-installed dartboard, pub games, carpet bowls and table tennis were all in use. The pop-up pub night marks a revival of interest in the village's hall, which at one time played host to a weekly social club with a darts team and other activities. Suggested future activities include vinyl record nights, quiz nights and live music.
The hall is available for hire for social events, clubs and societies, with a discount for villagers. Comments are closed.
